  2.   Just before Peach dealt the
  3. fatal blow,Fang Duck vanished,
  4. screaming vows of vengence.
  5.   Peach slumped down against
  6. the wall, gasping for breath.
  7. after a while, he deemed him-
  8. self strong enough to walk,
  9. and started back. Now that
  10. Fang Duck is gone, what comes
  11. next? Everyone else is gone,
  12. and he doesn't know if he can
  13. make it back to the coast.
  14.   Losing all his strength a-
  15. gain, Peach collapsed,sobbing.

  17. He didn't even see the magenta
  18. light filling the air around
  19. him.
  20.   When Peach awoke, he sensed
  21. the land felt different some-
  22. how. Losing his sorrow in the
  23. wake of this curiosity, peach
  24. started hiking to the burned
  25. shack he saw on the way there.
  26.   Upon reaching the top of a
  27. ridge, an amazing view came
  28. to Peach's eyes. It was if the
  29. land hadn't changed a bit, as
  30. if Fang Duck had never been in
  31. power, as if --

  34. there?! Get outta my cow pas-
  35. ture!"
  36.   The voice startled Peach,
  37. and he spun around to face the
  38. source. An angry chipmunk was
  39. calling from the distance.
  40.   Norumbega was back to nor-
  41. mal! Peach hadn't the foggiest
  42. idea why, but it was! Laughing
  43. hysterically, Peach ran down
  44. the hill, heading for the
  45. coast.
  46.   The farmer watched the young
  47. lobster disappear into the

  50.   "Kids keep getting stranger
  51. every day", he mumbled, trudg-
  52. ing back to his chair.
